What's in a name? Are we then mostly insane? No, of course not, at least we don't think so. No, this is mainly about what happens when creating music together. Sometimes with a new and fresh approuch. That moment that everything is effortlessly. An epiphany, a sane moment, or even a happy little accident. You know, that moment of bliss... It's not always there though. I comes and goes, but when it does it's pure bliss. It's true, music can be healing, especially while creating it. Rock on...

A little bit of history about a bass player and a drummer...
BarabaNL A.K.A. BarabaJazz was the first band a drummer met a certain bassplayer. David on drums, Eddy on guitar, Vanya on sax and Claudio on bass. Mostly instrumental, heavy on jazz and groove and like any other band through the years we had our ups and (break)downs, but we always came back. At least, at first... BarabaNL no more. Vanya and Claudio tried hooking up with new musicians and we played together for a quite while untill a certain drummer called...
Electric Driver was a dutch rock band from Amsterdam with its own unique eclectic sound. Inspired by the alternative rock scene of the 70s and 90s with influences from post-punk, metal, funk, jazz, reggae and world music, they compose their own work. By merging powerful guitar riffs, exciting and groovy bass parts, energetic drumming, unique vocals and especially their dynamic live performances full of energy, they know how to captivate the listener and make any room buzz with excitement! The bands name stands for the future and sake of our world and it’s environment. A strong message within our music.
Back in 2019 Jeroen and Danilo met and hooked up. Drummer David completed the trio and recorded an EP in June 2020. But then suddenly (like many things in 2021). Jeroen left the band! It didn’t take long before new lead singer Menno joined the band. All they need now is a bass player. Well, David knew a guy he used to play with back in the days. Well, it's worth a shot... Eventually Claudio left his band and became the new bass player, and thus a power trio became a quartet and had a good and powerfull thing going. Sadly, due to personal & creative differences our rather successful band ended quite abruptly. Not even going out with a bang, but like a forgotten candel.
Project Temporary Sane
So, two left two went on a new journey, again... After some try-outs with different musicians they knew they had to set the bar high. Check all the boxes. And then we met Andrzej, an impressive guitar player who melted right in and happened to know this singer. His colleague Steggy. And this is how things sometimes just falls into place. After just one awesome jam together all we mentioned previously happened. So, good vibes, enough potential, creativity, lots of energy and most importantly, that musical click. So, stay tuned for more to come and for us to continue our rocky road... 😎
And as we say in The Netherlands; verandering van spijs doet leven. This is already a good thing.
To be continued...
